Today I did another pastel piece for day nine of the 30 in 30 challenge. This might be my last shot at the pastel pencils for a little while, as they kept breaking and I ended up getting frustrated. My favorite part of this one is how the warm and cool colors mix together.

On a more positive note I reworked yesterday's piece of the cat. The cheeks and nose felt flat so I went in and added more color. I love how the eyes turned out so I decided to name it
Those Eyes.

I got a head start on tomorrow's piece. I'm looking forward to getting more progress on that one.
