30 in 30 Challenge: Piece #20
Its day 20 of the challenge. This one was inspired by some of the mascots I've been drawing for my client, one of them being a turtle. When I did the research for turtles online I saw so many beautiful colors and photos, I knew I had to do at least one for this challenge.
I am happy with how far I've gone and that I've been able to keep up with this challenge. I got myself an electric pencil sharpener since I was overdue for one. When I took descriptive drawing at CSUF, Professor Lawrence Yun was strict about using electric sharpeners only, because they keep the points sharp and it stops the leads from breaking. That semester I went through 3 battery operated ones from so much sharpening!
When this challenge is over, I'm looking forward to slowing down for some more photo-realistic works.

ReplyDeleteThank you Jess. Sea turtles are adorable.
ReplyDeleteNice Work. I like the expression and the way the turtle is looking at you. Choice of color is very nice also.
ReplyDeleteThank you Suzan!
