Ninth Biennial Ontario Invitational Art Exhibit

Art Exhibit Reception and Recognition  Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 1:00-3:00 PM Ontario Museum of History and Art 225 S. Euclid Ave, Ontario, CA 91762 The exhibit is runs through July 15, 2018. Museum hours are Thursday-Sunday, Noon to 4:00 PM. If you are in the area, join me at the Reception and Recognition on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 1:00-3:00 PM. Remarks and Recognition will begin at 1:30 PM.  Find more details in my newsletter.  About the Exhibit On display now is the Ninth Biennial Ontario Invitational Art Exhibit at the Ontario Museum of History and Art. A community favorite, this exhibit features an assortment of artworks by local and regional artists. The award winners from the 2017 Ontario Open Art Exhibit will debut their most recent work in painting, mixed media, photography, drawing, and sculpture. The 2018 Ontario Invitational artists are first, second and third place winners: Luis Rodriguez, John Egan, and Tom Cypert; as well as Honorable Mention artists: Andrea Benitez, Laurence Merrill-Dilman, Jerry Weems and City Council Liaison winner Frank Carrillo. In addition, Mayor pro Tem Recognition Award, artist Chris Kueng, and Touch of Heart Recognition Award, artist Aaron Duncan will be exhibiting work. The exhibit opened yesterday. We were so excited we had to go see it on opening day! Here's a sneak peek. The sculpture looks so special under the glass and hanging on the wall.
